Blockchain Startups Summit, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Donnerstag, 15. November 2018

The Blockchain Startups Summit is a jointly organized event by the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center and EU-Startups. The aim is to bring together more than 300 entrepreneurs, investors and blockchain technology service providers from across Europe and to foster relationships on November 15th on the campus of Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
The event will showcase a pitch battle for a selection of the hottest European blockchain-based startups with a prize package worth €10.000. It will also count on the participation of high-profile entrepreneurs and investors among our speakers. The one-day event is a fantastic opportunity to network, and a is an ideal meeting point for aspiring entrepreneurs and investors who want to build blockchain companies.
Prize for pitches
A selection of the hottest European blockchain-based startups will have the opportunity to showcase a pitch battle and compete for a prize package worth €10.000 in total.

The Blockchain Startups Summit will take place at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management on November 15th from 16.00h to 20.00h.
The event will include panel discussions, talks by top-notch speakers and presentations by startups that are active in the field of blockchain. The aim is to further develop the European blockchain startup ecosystem. There will also be space for networking among the participants to complete a very intense and vibrant event.

Klaus Himmer is managing director and co-founder of 21 Consulting (CryptoTax). He is an expert in taxing blockchain-based assets. As a consultant to a major accounting firm, he advised banks, investment management companies and other financial service providers on questions of product and corporate taxation. Against this background, his focus is now on the technical implementation of tax-induced processes for private investors and companies in the crypto . Dr. Philipp Sandner is head of the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management which has been initiated in February 2017. The expertise of Prof. Sandner ,in particular, includes blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship. Further, Prof. Sandner is a member of the FinTechRat of the Federal Ministry of Nguyen is director of the Colocation Service Line and Cloud Platform at e-shelter, responsible for customers and partners with e-shelter colocation and connectivity solutions to best support their hybrid / multi-cloud implementations as part of the digital transformation. He held various sales/sales positions at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Hewlett-Packard in Germany, the US and Singapore.
